Paste Crew are responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of underground paste reticulation systems.

About the role:

  • Installation of underground paste reticulation, pipe supports, couplings, elbows etc.
  • Installation of UG dump valves/diverter valves, pressure sensors and instrumentation.
  • Construction of paste walls and bunds.
  • Co-ordinate works with surface plant and mining operation teams.
  • Record and report daily activities, paste line performance, and maintenance requirements accurately.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including hazard identification, risk management, and use of appropriate PPE.
  • Work collaboratively with other crews (services, projects, and production) to coordinate paste installation around mining schedules.

About you:

  • Minimum of 12 months underground experience essential within paste and projects.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and underground plant relevant to paste reticulation with mechanical aptitude ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic system faults.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include drug and alcohol screening.
